Even so, this demo shows how powerfully lifelike the android is.

Introducing the New Philip K Dick Android

The Philip K Dick android has been rebuilt, in a collaborative exercise by David Hanson and Dutch film-maker David Kleijwegt.
The new android, known as “New Phil,” is similar to the previous incarnation of the android, known as “Old Phil.” There are some slight differences, however.
New Phil is better looking and overall a sleeker design than Old Phil. He smiles more. He’s got a more colorful shirt!
However, the AI for New Phil is not currently up and running. That will be a future endeavour by Hanson Robotics and the Apollo Mind Initiative.
